Since I was 13 years old, I’ve wanted to move to California to become the next famous actress or to design magazines. I realized my passion for the latter while my sister and mother would scan a magazine and be done with it in ten minutes and I would spend days looking at all the pages in awe of the photos, colors and layouts and make inspiration boards with my favorites. Fast-forward ten years and I’m making my dreams a reality. Not only have I designed over eighteen glossy magazines but I have made my way into the surf and sport industry designing for sales and marketing as well as hospitality design and rebranding. On the side I have also designed for businesses including posters, e-books, brochures, social media designs, flyers, logos and much more. I am so lucky to have made my passion into a career while getting to live my dream in California!
 

Although my educational background is excellent and has taught me technical and design skills, it cannot compare to the experience I have gained while working as both an in-house graphic designer and as a freelance designer. My passion for design and stress-free attitude has helped me excel in my position. I have learned to balance my full time job while working on freelance projects for clients on the side. With unpredictable hours due to fast-paced deadline schedules, prioritization and organization are extremely important.
 

Since becoming a graphic designer I have helped businesses increase sales, develop a stronger social media presence and create solid branding guidelines. These changes have led to new customers, clients and advertisers. My friendly, outgoing personality allows me to work cooperatively with other designers to perform at our best. I am confident my creative design ideas and broad experience will bring new inspiration, attention, and positive growth to any company I join!
